I’ve been collaborating with three brilliant cartoonists from Cartoon Collections – renowned for their work for the New Yorker, Esquire and other publications – who have been bringing ideas from my book The Good Ancestor to visual life.

Below you will find 15 cartoons created by Kendra Allenby, Rebeka Ryvola and Feggo, exploring themes such as intergenerational justice and our legacies to future generations.

The cartoons were originally developed for a webinar on The Good Ancestor on July 17, 2020, co-hosted by the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University, the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, and Climate-KIC.
